Vicar St is hardly a venue I would have suggested for Therapy? but it'll certainly be an interesting prospect when the hard rock trio play the intimate venue as part of their 20th Anniversary celebrations.

On November 5th, Therapy? will take to the stage in Vicar St to perform their 1994 album 'Troublegum' in its entirety.

Bassist Michael McKeegan explained, "With it being the band’s 20th anniversary we wanted to do something a bit different, so we thought this might be an interesting setlist for the audience and a bit of a challenge for us ... Some of these tracks we haven’t played for more than 10 years. There’s actually one song on there I think we’ve only ever played live once before."

"We are doubly excited" added singer Andy Cairns, "as it’s the first time for us to play Vicar St, a venue that has somehow escaped us over the last 20 years, so were making the extra effort to put together a show that people won't forget for a long time to come. We're really looking forward to seeing all our fans and of course seeing all the old faces too"

The gig will also celebrate the release of Therapy?'s first ever official live album, due in November. Tickets priced €28 will go on sale next Monday September 20th at 9am.

Meanwhile, fans in Cork can catch Therapy? a little sooner, as they play two nights at Cyprus Avenue over the October Bank Holiday, on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th.
