How's this for some casting? Michael K Williams, who is best known for playing Omar in The Wire, has signed up to play the late Ol' Dirty Bastard in Dirty White Boy, a film about the life of the Wu Tang Clan rapper reports Deadline Hollywood.

Earlier this year ODB's FBI file was released to the public, which stated that the rapper was "heavily involved" in "murder, car-jackings and the sale of drugs and illegal guns", detailing a close involvement with crime throughout the latter years of his life.

The FBI file detailed how the musician was involved with the Bloods street gang and was closely connected to at least two murders and he himself was treated for a gunshot wound in 1998.
