On the eve of their newest album's release, we here at entertainment.ie are excited to announce that The Vamps will be taking over our website for the whole of tomorrow, Friday, October 16.

Fresh from A-List rotation at BBC Radio 2 earlier this year,  The Vamps plan on storming the charts this weekend with the release of their eagerly-anticipated fifth studio album. And they're going to be helping us out this Friday by letting our editorial team kick back and relax for the day while they write up some articles and take over our Instagram account.

First landing on the music scene six years ago, The Vamps have morphed from a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed boyband into a fully-fledged all-out pop band. This new incarnation of the band sees them opt for a more '80s-inspired sound which we can already hear be blasted out on stage in their upcoming arena tour in 2021.

In July, the band returned to the music scene with the single 'Married In Vegas', which was seen as a new era for the band, and so "the rebirth of The Vamps" had begun.

'Cherry Blossom' was honed and finessed during the lockdown, and says lead vocalist Bradley: "We'd be lying if we said we didn't want it to go out into the world and be received positively.

"But ultimately we love it so much, and that feeling of self-fulfilment is so exciting. These are songs that really touch on parts of our lives. The songs mean that little bit more."

So be sure to tune back into our website this Friday to see how well of a job Bradley, Connor, Tristan and James make of working for entertainment.ie for the day.

Here's the band's latest track, the electro-tinged 'Better', which is the second song to be taken off 'Cheery Blossom'.

The Vamps are releasing their new 11-track album 'Cherry Blossom' this Friday, October 16.
