Foodies rejoice! Electric Picnic's Theatre of Food will return to the Stradbally festival once more after the success of its debut last year. The sophomore year will see the theatre expanded from two days to three, welcome news to those who are accustomed to wandering around Electric Picnic with a rumbling belly.

Some of the gastronomic highlights this year include food demos, wine tasting, food sampling, a demonstration on how to set up your very own microbrewery and, delightfully, there will be a musical version of the TV show 'Ready Steady Cook', albeit with less Ainsley Harriott.

A selection of some of Ireland's greatest chefs will also be on hand, from Paul Flynn of The Tannery to Derry Clarke of L'Ecrivain, Ross Lewis of Chapter One, Troy Maguire, Catherine Fulvio and many more.
