Cavan youngsters The Strypes will celebrate the launch of their upcoming debut album 'Snapshot' with a headline performance at Dublin's The Academy on September 19th next.

In what has been a year of highlights for The Strypes. The teenagers have had huge shows at this year's Glastonbury festival and an upcoming European tour with the Arctic Monkeys to keep them busy, but one gets the impression that things will only snowball further once the album finally drops.

The Strypes will also play support to Blur for their only British & Irish show of 2013 this Thursday in Kilmainham.

Tickets to see the lads in the Academy will go on sale on 31st July, priced at €25. Meanwhile, check out their latest offering 'What A Shame' below.
