The Strypes will play their first ever headline tour in the UK this summer. The Cavan youngsters have enjoyed a tremendously successful twelve months since the release of their debut EP in April of 2012, going on to sign an international record deal and be the recipients of praise from everyone from Dave Grohl, to Elton Johm, to Paul Weller.
Their heady ascent will continue with a brief six-date headline tour in the UK, taking in shows in Bristol, London, Stoke, Preston, Oxford and Cardiff between June 20th and August 22nd. Irish fans will have a chance to see the band at the upcoming Electric Picnic, which opens its doors at the end of August.
In the meanwhile, look for a debut album from the fourpiece before the year is is.
