Cavan teenagers The Strypes will be among the guests on the first episode of the 42nd (!) season of Late...With Jools Holland, which will premiere on BBC2 at 10pm on Tuesday April 9th.

Joining them on the first episode will be another newcomer, Laura Mvula, and the more established names of Suede, who will be performing songs from their new album Bloodsport, and Cat Power who is promoting her most recent album Sun. 

Having taken the music scene by storm in 2012, this year is gearing up to be equally (or more) impressive and their debut UK television performance will only serve to enhance their reputations further. Beats being in school, that's for sure...
