If there's one band that can announce a slew of last-minute gigs across Europe and expect to sell them out in minutes flat, it's The Strokes.
The New York band – who played Electric Picnic 2019 and are rumoured to be releasing a new album this year, as frontman Julian Casablancas hinted on New Year's Eve – will play three gigs in reasonably small venues later this month.
Irish fans will be happy to hear that alongside Berlin and Paris, one of them is at Belfast's Waterfront Hall. They'll play there on February 24th.
Belfast - It’s been a while, has it not? But we’ll see you Feb 24th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb 5th at 10am GMT. https://t.co/uWvJ6fuSF6 for info

It's pretty unusual for a band of their stature to avoid cities like London, Manchester and Glasgow on their travels - could they be warm-up gigs for a potential new album?
In any case, tickets for the Belfast gig are on sale this morning at 10am – so get your trigger finger at the ready.
