Former drummer of The Smiths Mike Joyce has revealed that he'd certainly be interested in a band reunion, however he has zero intentions of delving into his bandmate Morrisey's autobiography. Why the cold shoulder? Well, if you go way back to 1996, you may or may not remember that Joyce actually sued Morrissey and Johnny Marr over royalties that he was never paid, which of course is said to be detailed to dramatic effect by theclean-eating frontman.

Morrissey recently revealed that he would pen a fictional novel following the success of his autobiography.

In an interview with Q Magazine, Joyce revealed: "I've not read the book, and I never will. I've got a pretty good idea of what's in there. I don't want to go down that route of putting out a statement saying that this or that is wrong."

While he doesn't want to open up old wounds, Joyce is now in a position where he'd happily team up with the lads once again and consider it all water under the bridge: "Of course, we'd all do it we were asked. We were one of the greatest bands ever. As a performer, there was nobody better than Morrissey. But a reunion is never going to happen."

Have you read/do you plan to read Morrisey's autobiography? Doubt there's many carnivores who will find it an enjoyable read.
