We knew Beyonce was powerful, but we didn't think she could have an effect on the electricity grid.
Although it's unknown whether her gig at Croke Park on Saturday was connected to the fact that the power went in thousands of homes in Drumcondra, the Dublin suburb where Croke Park is situated, on Saturday evening, over 4,600 houses in the area were left without power in the build-up to the gig.
Most of them were restored just before 8pm, but over 1500 homes were still without power up until the time that Beyoncé took the stage, at 8.30pm.
All of which leads us to draw the obvious conclusion that Beyoncé is, in fact, not a human but a high-powered robot who needed to be super-charged before she played her biggest Irish show to date. Duh.
