The bands and artists who are playing this year's Ireland Music Week have been announced.

Ireland Music Week is the new name for the event formerly known as Hard Working Class Heroes, the festival which ran in various venues in Dublin city centre and showcased up-and-coming Irish acts to both music industry people and the public.

The ethos of Ireland Music Week remains the same, and the 50 acts who have been selected from the 500+ entrants for this year's festival (which runs from October 1st - 5th) have been revealed.
