You wait years for one new Last Shadow Puppets release, and then two come along within six months.
Alex Turner and Miles Kane have obviously struck a purple patch of-sorts, as they've just announced the forthcoming release of new 6-track EP 'The Dream Synopsis' on December 2nd.
True, it does consist mostly of cover versions, but it's bookended by new versions of two songs taken from their second album 'Everything You've Come to Expect' - 'Aviation' and 'The Dream Synopsis'.
The other four songs are covers: 'Les Cactus' by Jacques Dutronc, 'Totally Wired' - by The Fall, 'This Is Your Life' by Glaxo Babies and Leonard Cohen's 'Is This What You Wanted'.
