We reported earlier in the year that the strains and stresses of being constantly on the road had brought The Killers to breaking point. Now "sick of the sight of each other", the Daily Mirror reports that the boys are in talks with management and lawyers to sort out a break for themselves before they end up killing each other. Wouldn't that make for one of the most apt band names in the history of music?
Rumour has it that after all their time on the road the bandmates no longer get on, and even insisted on travelling separately to their gig in London's O2 Arena. Though the Mirror reports that touring and recording commitments currently have the Las Vegas band booked up until 2010, they also admit that a spokesperson has said that The Killers are fine and haven't yet planned that far ahead.
