Amidst the various collaborations due to take place at the Grammys this coming Sunday, the ceremony will pay tribute to two icons of the music world that have died over the last year.
Lady Gaga undertook a David Bowie medley last year, but it's unclear as yet who will participate in the 'unforgettable tribute segments' for Prince and George Michael.
"George Michael and Prince were pop icons who showcased rare musical genius and otherworldly charisma," a statement read. "While each possessed a distinct style and sound, they were both adored by audiences worldwide. The passings of two such creative innovators were a huge loss for the creative community; The Recording Academy is humbled to pay homage to their tremendous legacies on the Grammy stage."
John Legend is down to perform during the In Memoriam segment, but we'll have to wait and see who's lined up to doff their cap to Prince and George Michael.
The Grammys take place on Sunday evening in Los Angeles, with highlights on RTE2 on Monday at 9.30pm.
