After declining rumours that they are splitting last month, The Flaming Lips are set to release their Stone Roses cover album on the 29th November. The album will be part of the bands Black Friday releases and is their take on the Stone Roses 1989 self titled album.

The band are also busy with their new Ender's Game-inspired 'Peace Sword' EP which is available to buy now. Speaking about the project front man Wayne Coyne said, 'There's a little magic coin inside that brain that you're supposed to dig out. I think it's supposed to get you into any Flaming Lips show in the world. I think that's our intention.

So it looks like the band won't be going anywhere soon. Last month a tweet appeared on the bands Twitter announcing that the band had split. 'We have sad news... We've broken up' said the message. Which was followed by 'lol just joking guys'. Wayne Coyne took to Twitter to dismiss the rumours saying the bands Twitter had been hacked.
