The Coronas are the latest addition to the bill for the upcoming Indiependence Music & Arts Festival, set to take place on August 3rd to 5th in Mitchelstown's Deer Park.

This will be the Terenure band's second Cork appearance in just a few weeks, having played a sold out show at Cork's Live at the Marquee festival in mid-May.

"It's great to be able to do another show in Cork this summer, especially after so many people couldn't get tickets for the Marquee gig and we love playing at Indie, so we're really looking forward to it," says lead singer Danny O'Reilly.

Indiependence organiser Shane Dunne also spoke of his delight, saying: "It's great to have the lads back - they are the hottest act in Ireland right now so to be able to add them to the bill for Indiependence this late in the day is great. With so many people looking for tickets after the Marquee sold out, the lads really wanted to do another Cork show and we were only too happy to be it".

The Coronas will play Indiependence on Sunday August 5th.
