The best DJ in the world for 2016, as voted for by DJ Mag, has been named - but you might not have heard of him.

Amidst the Calvin Harrises, the Tiestos, the Aviciis and the Paul Kalkbrenners, a young babyfaced Dutchman by the name of Martin Garrix has been awarded the accolade.

While he may not be a household name in the same way as the aforementioned Harris might be, the 20-year-old Garrix is well-known amongst dance fans and is certainly no stranger to the charts - he's already worked with the likes of Usher, Ed Sheeran, Avicii and many others in the past, and is managed by Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber's manager.
