The Academic's new EP 'Acting My Age' releases today through Capitol Records, and the record has been hailed as a collection of infectious guitar pop goodness.
Produced by Kaiser Chiefs’ drummer Nick Hodgson, the six-track EP comes just a few days after the band released the music video for their latest single.
The lads from Mulligan are proving once again that there's something in the water in the midlands, as the band have taken it upon themselves to release an effortless EP on the right side of a global pandemic. Setting their sights firmly on tapping into the international market in the future, The Academic have been known to be compared along the same lines of Phoenix, The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand and Vampire Weekend. Expect big things from the four-piece in the near future.
