She was thrown into the glare of the spotlight in 2016 at the age of 13, when her appearance on an episode of 'Dr. Phil' went viral.
Now, 17-year-old rapper Danielle Bregoli - who became known for her comically bad attitude and her 'Cash (catch) me outside, how bow dah' catchphrase - has entered rehab for substance abuse and mental health reasons.
TMZ report that Bregoli has been in rehab for several weeks, in a bid to treat "a combination of things”. These include issues that stem from childhood trauma, as well as substance abuse.
Her management team released a statement saying: "We are very proud of Danielle for recognizing that she needed help and seeking it out.”
In 2017, Bregoli became the youngest female rapper to chart on the Billboard Top 100 with her debut single 'These Heaux'. She signed a record deal with Atlantic that led to a reality show, a make-up brand and more. Her debut mixtape '15' was released in 2018 and saw her collaborate with the likes of rappers Ty Dolla Sign, YG and more.
Her most recent released was a single titled 'That's What I Said' in April.
