A teenager in America has quit school in order to pursue a career as a professional player of the computer game 'Guitar Hero'.
The parents of 16-year-old Blake Peebles allowed him to end his education at North Raleigh Christian Academy in North Carolina so that their son can stay at home and perfect his fake guitar-playing skills.
"We couldn't take the complaining anymore," his mother said. "He always told me that he thought school was a waste of time."
Peebles has won various prizes from 'Guitar Hero' tournaments thus far, including gift certificates, gaming equipment and chicken sandwiches (?).
Slow news day, folks.
