Taylor Swift is making all sorts of headlines thanks to her 'Eras' tour, which is currently making its way across North America.

The star has been roundly praised for the show - which includes some spectacular visuals and a theatrical aspect - but one thing that has left fans bamboozled has been how she actually arrives on stage.

There has been recent speculation that she may have hidden herself in a janitor's cart that is wheeled on to the stage, and a new video confirms that that is, in fact, the case. (If you're wondering why she'd go to the trouble, by the way, it's because there are some 'obstructed view' seats on sale that allow fans to glimpse part of the backstage area).

A video taken by a fan sees a roadie pushing a large cart filled with mops and brooms onto the stage, and Swift quickly emerges and runs to her stage position.

You may be thinking 'But... why bother?!' and you'd be right.

However, it's not the first time that Swift has gone to great lengths to conceal herself; in 2017, Stereogum reported how she was once wheeled out of her New York apartment in a suitcase to avoid waiting paparazzi.

Janitor trolleys, however, are not a recommended mode of transport, even if you are a multi-millionaire pop star.
