Taylor Swift's 're-recorded albums' project continues apace as she has just announced the next release in the series.

Although she is currently on her 'Eras' tour - which hits Dublin next summer - she is ploughing ahead with her 'Taylor's Version' album series.

As you may recall, the idea for the series stemmed from the fact that her back catalogue was sold without her permission to external investors.

She has re-recorded all of her early material to reclaim her copyright, and the latest in the series is her 2014 album '1989' - the album that spawned hits like 'Shake It Off', 'Blank Space' and 'Bad Blood'.

It'll be released on October 27th and will feature five previously unreleased tracks.

Swift said "Surprise!! 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is on its way to you ! The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th. To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long!”

Swift's most recent 'Taylor's Version' release was 'Speak Now', which was released last month.
