It's only been a few months since the untimely death of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, and since then his bandmates have been understandably quiet as they process the tragedy.

Yet while fans might have expected it to be a while before they took to the stage again, the rock band are planning two major gigs in September to honour their late bandmate.

In partnership with the Hawkins Family, the 'Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts' will take place in London and Los Angeles,  billed as 'global events celebrating the memory & music of a rock legend', with an all-star line-up promised for both. They will see "his bandmates and his inspirations playing the songs that he fell in love with, and the ones he brought to life."

The London gig takes place on September 3rd at Wembley Arena, and the Los Angeles gig on September 27th at the Kia Forum. There's no news yet on whether they will be made available to stream online - but you can sign up for news on tickets and the line-up here.
