If you, like us, were big fans of SZA's debut album 'Ctrl' released last year, you'll be happy to hear that she's planning a follow-up.
You may not be so happy, however, to hear that her second one could be her last.
The 27-year-old singer-songwriter claimed she was heading for early retirement in an interview with Flaunt, when she said: “I’m still miserable. My world got so much smaller so fast. I have so much to write about. I feel like I’m in a cage.
"I’m making the best album of my life for this next album and I know that… because it’s going to be my last album.”
They note that she smiles when she says the latter, but still... surely that can't be it?
SZA was in the headlines earlier this year when fans mounted a protest against her being overlooked for the 'Best New Artist' Grammy in favour of Alessia Cara. She addressed the kerfuffle by saying: "God didn’t give me the Grammys, because he knows I would have quit, like ‘I have nothing else to do.’”
