Oxford shoegazers Swervedriver have announced several UK gigs as part of their comeback tour.

The band originally formed in 1989, before going on hiatus in 1999 - but not before they'd garnered a cult following for their Sonic Youth/My Bloody Valentine-aping sounds.

They've reunited for a world tour and played the Coachella Festival earlier this year.

They've also announced a date at London's Scala venue on September 16th, as well as a gig at King Tut's in Glasgow on September 18th.

An Irish date has not been announced, but we'll let you know ASAP if it is.
