Last Shadow Puppet Miles Kane has recruited Super Furry Animals' Gruff Rhys to help out on the new album from his main band The Rascals.
The as yet untitled album follows the band's debut, Rascalize, and Kane told BBC 6music that it would be "quite fresh sounding, quite Lennon-like, T-Rex," and that it would have a summer vibe about it.
Rhys' role on the new Rascals album is not clear and the band have yet to set a date to work with the Super Furry frontman. Of the collaboration Kane said "I'm very excited to try it with him and see where we go because I really respect him and he's a nice fella."
