Walter Becker, the guitarist and co-founder of Steely Dan, has passed away at the age of 67.

Becker, along with Donald Fagen, wrote some of Steely Dan's most recognisable hits, including Kid Charlemagne, Reelin' In The Years, Do It Again, and Aja. Together with Don Fagen, Becker had been inducted into the Rock 'N Roll Hall Fame and was a multi-Grammy Award-winning musician.

No official cause of death has been listed, and the status of Steely Dan's upcoming tour dates is currently unknown.
