Maroon 5 have postponed their upcoming Dublin show at The O2 on June 29th. A new date has been confirmed, with the gig now taking place on January 16th 2014. Original tickets will remain valid but refunds are available from point of purchase if need be.

The band's singer Adam Levine released a statement speaking of his disappointment, saying: "We are truly sorry for any inconvenience we have caused our fans and promise that when we come over in January we will put on a show to remember! We can't wait to play Ireland again."

Toots & The Maytals frontman Toots Hibbert was forced to cut short a gig in Richmod, Virginia over the weekend after being struck by a vodka bottle thrown from the crowd. The 67-year-old reggae legend suffered a laceration to his forehead as a result of the incident.

Girls Aloud's Irish representative Nadine Coyle is said to be considering putting a brand new girlband together. The Mail on Sunday quoted a 'source' as saying that Nadine always wanted to be in control while in Girls Aloud but was never afforded that level of responsibility and that she intends to take control of a girl group to reap the financial rewards.

Kanye West will name his new album 'Yeezus', or so say US hip-hop website Rap-Up.com. The follow-up to West's multi-award winning My Dark and Twisted Fantasy is said to have a release date of June 18th.

The Rolling Stones were joined on stage by Dave Grohl in Anaheim, California at the band's show there on Sunday night. Foo Fighters frontman Grohl dueted with Mick jagger on the Stones' track 'Bitch'. Check out the footage below!
