Scottish band Sons & Daughters have announced that they will release their fourth album 'Mirror Mirror' on June 10th this year.

Produced by Keith McIvor, better known as JD Twitch, one half of Glasgow DJ duo Optimo, the album follows 2008's 'This Gift'. Guitarist Scott Paterson said of his contribution, "He has great taste in music, and we also knew we wanted to start using electronics, and he's really into his dance music."

Meanwhile frontwoman Adele Bethel said, "If any film represents this record, it would be like Dario Argento's (1977 Italian horror) Suspiria."

Indeed 'Silver Spell,' the first track to be unveiled from the new album, showcases a much darker side of Sons & Daughters than ever before. Hopefully though, there'll be plenty of their punkish rock and roll to be found on 'Mirror Mirror' as well.
