It's been a big few days for SOAK. The Derry teenager announced earlier this week that she had signed a major publishing deal with Universal and today it has been revealed that she has been added to the line-up for this summer's Sea Sessions festival in Donegal.

SOAK will join the previously announced Fat Freddy's Drop and The Milk as the first names confirmed for the surf n' music festival.

Having released her debut EP Sea Creatures in mid 2012, SOAK has gone on to perform in some of Northern Ireland's biggest venues, including a support slot to Snow Patrol (Gary Lightbody is a confirmed fan).

Bridie Monds-Watson, as her mates know her, also made a starmaking appearance at December's Other Voices in Dingle.

Sea Sessions will again take place in the (hopefully!) sunny climes of Bundoran in Co. Donegal, across the weekend of 21st to 23rd June. Tickets are on sale via entertainment.ie/tickets.
