Snoop Dogg told a press conference that he has always felt like a reincarnation of Bob Marley.
Speaking to reporters to promote his new record 'La La La' Snoop said he was always rastafarian he just didnt know it until now that is. 'I didn't know that until I went to the temple, where the High Priest asked me what my name was, and I said, 'Snoop Dogg'. And he looked me in my eyes and said, 'No more. You are the light; you are the lion'.'
Snoop has adopted the reggae persona for his new album going under the name of Snoop Lion. He went on to say ' I have always said I was Bob Marley reincarnated. I feel I have always been a Rastafari. I just didn't have my third eye open, but it's wide open right now'.
When speaking about his forthcoming album called Reincarnated-funnily enough- Snoop LION said 'On this particular project, I had no planning on going to Jamaica, making a reggae record. The spirit called me. And, you know, anytime the spirit calls you, you gotta know that it's serious.' Yes the spirit.....
Snoop's album Reincarnated features collaborations with Diplo and MIA and will be released later this year.
