Snoop Dogg has announced that he will play a second Dublin date at The Academy on June 11th, in addition to his previously announced appointment the previous night.
The Doggfather has announced the new show to accommodate his fans aged 16 and over. Fear not, though, as over 18’s will be welcomed to the balcony where alcohol will be served.
Snoop will be bringing cohorts Daz Dillinger, Kurupt aka The Dogg Pound, Mr Soopafly Priest Brooks & DJ Rashid Williams with him for the shows.
Snoop Dogg has become a regular visitor to Ireland over the past 10 years and was for many the highlight of the Oxegen and Phoenix Park Festivals. The Iconic Renaissance Man has sold over 30 Million records and shows no sign of slowing down. This will be a rare opportunity for his Irish fans to see one of the greatest rappers of all time up close and personal in a club setting.
Speaking from LA earlier last week, Snoop Dogg said "Timing for this tour means we miss out on some festivals , but I could not come to Europe without doing a stopover in Dublin to catch up with all my friends and do some partying with the playas in Dublin. That Academy show is going to be hot ‘n sweaty and Bigg Boss Dogg is going to hit you with the hits , so ya gotta see me there spooned n groomed, dipped n whipped, suited n booted gooted n looted, Fo Shizzle !"
