A strange collaboration if ever there was one - Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha and prettyboy Taylor Hanson. Even stranger when Fountains of Wayne bassist Adam Schlesinger and Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos are added to the mix, but those are the four that make up the line up of Tinted Windows.
The group have already recorded their deut album at Stratosphere Sound Studios in New York - where esle seeing as the studios are owned by Schlesinger and Iha. It is due to be released in the Spring, but it's unlikely to be before they play their first gig together at Austin's SXSW festival on March 20th.
