Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto is to release a solo EP with the help of Simian Mobile Disco.
The duo, James Ford and Jas Shaw, are producing the as-yet untitled four track EP, which will be released on 12" vinyl and digital download in January.
The outspoken singer first worked with SMD when she contributed vocals to the song 'Cruel Intentions' which featured on their 2009 album 'Temporary Pleasure'.
The exact release date has yet to be confirmed and there is no indication as to whether Ditto is planning to continue a solo career.
