Icelanders Sigur Ros will stream their sixth and newest album Valtari online this coming Thursday, the band announced today on their website.

The band have been on a prolonged hiatus since their last release in 2008 as "all the guys in the band [were] busy having babies", as lead singer Jonsi told entertainment.ie in March 2010 but it was obvious that the band would one day reunite.

"I think we always knew we would get back together", Jonsi told music website Gigwise.com. "I just think we needed a long break after we had been touring so much, for so many years".

Fans will be treated to a one-time only one hour stream of Valtari from the band's official website at 7pm IST on Thursday 17th May. Not sure about you, but we can't wait to hear what they've been up to all this time.
