Last year was a bumper year for Irish albums - so we don't envy the task ahead of this year's Choice Music Prize judges.
They've already narrowed down the slew of Irish releases to a shortlist of the ten albums below, which have just been revealed today. One of them will be crowned the Choice Music Prize Irish Album of the Year 2019.
There may be a clear favourite amongst the bunch - but has been proven time and time again (like last year, when O Emperor beat the likes of Villagers and Delorentos), you just never know with the Choice Music Prize...
The winner will be crowned at the live show at Vicar Street on March 5th, which you can buy tickets to now. The line-up will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The Irish Song of the Year will also be announced at the live event, with that shortlist being announced on January 29th.
