Several new acts have been added to the bill for this year's Sea Sessions Surf Music Festival in Donegal - including President Michael D. Higgins!

The President will be arriving at the festival on Saturday June 30th and will give a speech and take a tour of the festival site, before presumably acquiring a glowstick and heading to the pit to watch the Happy Monday set.

On the music side of things, The Unabombers, The Strypes, Disconauts, Bouts, Relish, The Riptide Movement, Tieranniesaur and The Raglans have been added to the bill, which already includes the aforementioned Happy Mondays, Rev Run, The Coronas and Kaiser Chiefs.

Festival organisers have also announced that an official Sea Sessions app will be available at the start of June for smartphones, which will provide all the latest news and information for festivalgoers.

Sea Sessions takes place in Bundoran, Co Donegal from June 29th to 1st July. Tickets are still available from the official website.
