The Forty Foot has been a well-known swimming spot in Dublin for generations, but more recently it has become a bit of an unexpected celeb hangout.
Ever since Matt Damon was spotted with his togs in his Super Valu bag in 2020, the spot in Sandycove, south Dublin has gained a newfound kudos.
The latest celeb to go for a dip at the Forty Foot is Sam Smith, who played Dublin's 3Arena over the weekend.
They spent their free time having a swim, apparently unbothered by fans, and posted pictures to social media.
Many of the replies applauded Sam for (literally) taking the plunge as the water temperature was so cold. His fellow musician James Vincent McMorrow commented: "That water was so cold today it felt like my toes were about to just fall off 😂😂🥶 fair play for getting in"
They later posted an image of themselves on the ferry back to the UK - no fancy travel notions here, clearly - saying "Farewell Ireland 💚
always a true pleasure x"
