They were undoubtedly one of the biggest pop acts in this part of the world at the height of their fame, selling 10 million albums worldwide - but in recent times, S Club 7 have fallen on hard times.

In fact, the group's most recent Irish appearance saw their membership dwindled to S Club 3, when they played an 'ironic' date on the Electric Ireland stage at Electric Picnic in 2017.

And in recent weeks, former member Hannah Spearitt has revealed how she was homeless over Christmas and has struggled to find a permanent home for her family after their landlord sold their rented home.

Paul Cattermole, meanwhile, has sold his band's Brit Awards and gold discs on eBay in recent years.

However, the group have presumably cast aside any differences they've had, and are reuniting for their 25th anniversary.

The full original line up - Tina, Jon, Paul, Hannah, Bradley, Rachel and Jo - will embark on a UK and Ireland arena tour that will see them stop-off at Dublin's 3Arena on October 16th.

"After eight years it feels amazing to announce that we're reuniting and performing together again," they said in a statement. "We're so excited to bring the S Club Party back to our fans across the country to celebrate 25 years of S Club 7. We can't even believe it's been so long! Music and friendship have always been at the core of everything that we've ever done. We hope everyone can join us for one big party!!"

Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 17th at 10am from usual outlets.
