The Ruby Sessions - the acoustic evening held every Tuesday night in Doyle's of College Street in aid of the Dublin Simon Community - is to host a number of Irish bands/artists next week.
The special gig will serve as both a 9th birthday party for the club night, and a warm-up gig for the artists taking part, who are playing at the Electric Picnic next weekend.
Cathy Davey, Lisa Hannigan, One Day International and Gavin Glass and the Holy Shakers will all be playing acoustic sets on the night.
Doors are 9pm, entry is €6 (payable on the door), and people are advised to get there early, as it's first come, first in - and this one is guaranteed to sell out.
