One of the undoubted highlights of National Heritage Week will be happening on the evening of Friday 23rd in Dublin's Christ Church Cathedral when Ronan O'Snodaigh and assorted like-minded folk will treat attendees to an evening of some the finest traditional, folk-rock and world music. Tickets for the show, priced at €16, are available now.

Described by some as the 'living embodiment or Turlough O'Carolan and Bob Marley' and by others as the 'Jimi Hendrix of Bodhran', but the truth of the matter is that he's far more unique than that.

The evening will feature songs from O'Snodaigh's new album Sos (meaning Break) which is set for an autumn release this year. Recorded in Dublin with Californian producer Pete Rotulo, the album approaches the crossroads linking the musical territories of pop, funk, folk and rock. Musicians from the record will also appear with O'Snodaigh on the night, too.

Doors for the gig will open at 7.15pm.
