Good news for Rolling Stones fans. Ronnie Wood has said to the Radio Times that the band are "on the verge" of touring to celebrate their upcoming 50th anniversary as a band.

Drummer Charlie Watts has previously spoken of the band's intentions to celebrate their half-centenary.

Said Wood: "Be lovely, wouldn't it? That's what we're on the verge of. I dunno what the hell is gonna happen yet but we all feel we owe it to ourselves and to the people to do something."

Keith Richards and Mick Jagger reportedly met in November of last year to iron out details of how to mark the occasion.
