Although there's been no official confirmation from Aiken Promotions, it looks like the Rolling Stones are due to announce a possible Croke Park date on Monday at 8AM.

Speculation has been rife for some time as to who would take the fourth Croke Park date on May 17th, however the presence of a number of billboards and signs around Dublin with the infamous Rolling Stones logo lend more credence to the rumours.

According to Rolling Stones fansite IORR.org, the European tour is rumoured to kick off in Croke Park in May 17th before it heads to London on May 22nd before heading to Manchester, Southampton, Edinburgh, Birmingham before it crosses onto the continent with expected stops in Germany, France, Poland and the Czech Republic.

Ed Sheeran is slated to play Phoenix Park on May 16th, 18th and 19th and was rumoured to play a Croke Park date on May 17th. The Rolling Stones' last appearance in Ireland was over 11 years ago, when they headlined Slane Castle.
