Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant has been added to the this year's Electric Picnic line-up. Plant will play with his new band The Sensational Space Shifters, comprising of members of his 'Strange Sensation' project from a decade or so ago.

The legendary vocalist has hinted that he may be open to a Led Zeppelin tour in 2014 and has been known to play a few Zep tunes in his solo shows, so don't be surprised if he belts out a version of 'Ramble On' in Stradbally this summer.

Elsewhere Ellie Goulding, Little Green Cars, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, John Grant, Gavin James and Miles Kane are among the newer additions.

Also on the agenda for the tenth anniversary of the Picnic will be headline performances from Arctic Monkeys, Bjork, Fatboy Slim and Johnny Marr, as well as the likes of David Byrne and St. Vincent, Eels, Noah and the Whale, Hurts, Mick Flannery, The Walkmen, The Strypes and dozens more.

Electric Picnic will take place at its usual home in Stradbally, Co Laois, over the weekend of August 30th to September 1st.

A special ticket offer has been made available to Picnic punters this year too. If you can prove that you've been to three or more Electric Picnics, a weekend pass will cost you just €149.50 - a whole €100 less than last year's full price ticket.

If you’ve been just once before, your ticket will cost you €169.50 while those Picnic virgins among you will have to shell out €189.50, which is still significantly less than last year's prices. It should be noted, however, that these ticket offers will only remain in place between April 27th and May 27th.

Between May 28th and July 28th, weekend tickets will cost €189.50, while after July 28th weekend passes will cost you €229.50. Day tickets for Sunday are priced at €89.50.
