Well, here's one for you. Robert Pattinson, yes he of Twilight fame, will shortly be starting work on his debut album, claims US Weekly. Rumours have long been abound that Pattinson and his Twilight co-stars have been jamming in hotel rooms in between filming sessions of the hit teen Vampire saga. A "source" close to US Weekly says that the album Pattinson will make will be "guitar-based and drums, very organic sounding, nothing pop. Like strippeed-down Ray LaMontagne meets Van Morrisson."
Pattinson contributed two songs to the Twilight soundtrack in 2008 but was turned down by XL Recordings, home of the xx and Adele, after approaching them for a record contract.
