Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill' is the 2022 hit that no one expected.
The song, originally released in 1985, has enjoyed an unexpected second wind this year thanks to its inclusion on the soundtrack of 'Stranger Things'. It subsequently topped the charts in eight countries, including Ireland.
The success of the song has introduced Kate Bush's work to a new generation, although judging by the video below, we're still not sure if that's a good thing or not.
Rita Ora covered the track during her Rock in Rio set the other day, and it has been widely panned by fans, with one saying "This must be one of the worst covers of all time."
The overdone cover was topped off with Ora lying flat on the stage and looking very pleased with herself.

That's dreadful. Just because lots of notes exist, it doesn't mean you need to try and include them all in every song. You certainly don't need to try it if you're as bad as this.
