Back in April many Bon Jovi fans were left disappointed when Richie Sambora pulled out of the 'Because We Can' world tour. At the time the guitarist cited 'personal issues' as the reason he could not continue with the band. However rumours were abound that he was just not getting enough dough.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Sambora dismissed these rumours and admitted that he needed to take time off to spend it with his family, saying he found it difficult to do both. 'Honestly, I went out for the first leg of the tour, I had no idea this was going to happen,' he said, 'I just started spending time with my kid between [tour] legs, and my spirit wouldn't pull myself out the door. I just needed to be home'.

Sambora was quick to dismiss the claims that Jon Bon was being a bit mean with his wages saying, 'I thought maybe we should have took more time between the last tour and this tour.' But fear not Bon Jovi fans as Sambora has not ruled out a come back to the band. When questioned if he would return sometime in the future the guitarist said, 'I think so, yeah, I'm pretty sure. I don’t think it's going to be the end of the band or anything like that'. Phew!
