Get ready Radiohead fans. Thom Yorke has announced that the Oxford group will be going on tour in 2012. Radiohead have only played one show, a secret performance at Glastonbury, since they released their latest album The King of Limbs earlier this year. Thom Yorke said on BBC Radio: "The idea is to go out and play next year on and off during the year."

Yorke also said that Clive Deamer of Portishead would be part of the touring act. Deamer was present for Radiohead's Glasto show. The Radiohead frontman also revealed that a new album as part of the Atoms For Peace project will be released soon, on which he teams up with Flea and producer Nigel Godrich.
