Novelty oversized clocks at the ready! Hip hop legends Public Enemy have been announced as the headliners of this year's Indiependence festival which will take place at Cork's Deer Farm in Mitchelstown across the weekend of 1st to 3rd August. Joining Chuck D and Flavor Flav at the top of the bill will be British duo White Lies and Tom Odell. 

Elsewhere, and in what is probably Indie's best line-up to date, festivalgoers will have the chance to check out the likes of Fun Lovin' Criminals, Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip and David Holmes while the Irish contingent will contain the likes of Delorentos, David Holmes, Damien Dempsey, We Cut Corners and Lisa O'Neill.
