Bad luck for fans of Primal Scream who were looking forward to seeing Bobby Gillespie and co. play songs from their new album 'Chaosmosis' at Sea Sessions later this month.

The Scottish rockers have pulled out of the Donegal festival (June 24th - 26th) due to injury sustained by Gillespsie at a gig in Switzerland, and have had to cancel all of their live dates until mid-August.

All is not lost, though - they're being replaced by a band who have more than a few hits up their sleeve.

Ash will step into the breach to headline the Saturday night slot vacated by the Screamadelica band. That's a good deal, if you ask us.

Limited weekend tickets for the festival are still on sale from usual outlets.
